We provide treatment for injury prevention and wellness care, in addition to injury/pain reduction.
TRADITIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY including postural education, range of motion, stretching, strengthening, and joint mobilizations. An emphasis is put on teaching the client a home exercise program versus exercising on the clinic’s gym equipment. Kristen finds it more beneficial for clients and their recovery to be able to perform their exercises every day in the convenience of their own home versus having to come into the clinic multiple times in a week just to exercise. These home programs are monitored and progressed as appropriate. Clients who find it difficult to attend PT frequently due to their busy schedules have responded positively to this approach of doing as much as they possible can at home and keeping the time in the clinic for performing treatments that requires one on one therapist expertise.
