Dr. Kristen Trahan has been practicing in the North Country for the last 25 years, and has over 27 years of experience in the field of physical therapy. In 1996, she graduated with a Master’s of Science degree in physical therapy and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in rehabilitation sciences from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. In 2015, she graduated with a Doctor of physical therapy degree from Temple University. Since becoming a physical therapist in 1996, Kristen has had extensive training in a variety of treatment techniques. She has completed the coursework required to become a certified Pilate’s mat instructor and Kinesiotaping practitioner.
Kristen is committed to providing the highest level of care to her clients. Through the integration of manual therapies, Pilates instruction, and traditional Physical Therapy techniques, she utilizes a whole body approach to the treatment of various ailments. The manual therapies that she incorporates in the treatment of individuals may include Craniosacral therapy, Myofascial release, Lymph drainage, and various other techniques to attain an effective, relaxing treatment approach. She strives to create meaningful change of the individual’s symptoms and help restore lost function.
